Seeing an opportunity to close the gap between schools, communities and the Department of Education, Sigidi wanted to find a way to test and validate their ideas before making a big investment.
Partnering with KMC
This new way of working involved rapid prototyping techniques that help bring mobile to the forefront of the Department of Education. Bringing a new way of digital thinking and new concepts to life in a short time frame. This enabled Sigidi to trial new ideas with the Department of Education who perceived digital mobile enablement as a distant reality.
Being able to report an issue that occurred in a school or in learner communities, made the Fundani application vital to bridging the gap between the Department of Education, parents and communities. The Fundani app allows learners to use a mobile device to retrieve their matric results as well as finding the nearest school for parents wanting to enroll their children.
With the ability of KMC to prototype, design and deliver the application, we put the user in the center of the design. Using agile collaborative techniques, Sigidi Solutions and KMC delivered the application in just four weeks - with superior quality and robust engineering practices.
